If your dog lives, works or plays in the San Francisco East Bay Area, they are able to register for the project.
WHAT DOES THE PARTICIPATION FEE COVER?
$50 from every photoshoot goes to the Milo Foundation and the rest covers a teeny tiny portion of the costs involved in doing the photo sessions. All those who participate will receive a COMPLIMENTARY photo session by award-winning portrait artist, Cyndi Kuiper, of Chickpea Photography located in charming and historic Point Richmond (total value $600). Participants also receive a $200 GIFT CERTIFICATE to apply towards their portrait purchase. Images and the book are not included in the participation fee.
WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?
Chickpea Photography is located at 125 Park Place, Suite 122 in Point Richmond, CA. Point Richmond is a hidden gem in the East Bay with wonderful restaurants, parks and beach access sitting right at the foot of the San Rafael/Richmond bridge.
WHEN CAN I BOOK A PHOTOSHOOT?
Within the next 8 to 12 weeks, dependent on availability. We shoot in the studio from Wednesday thru Sunday.
WHAT WILL THE BOOK COST?
We are still working out those details , but it is likely to be around $100 depending on final size and options.
WHEN CAN I SEE THE PHOTOS?
Your cinematic viewing will take place during a zoom meeting one week after your photoshoot. At that time you can apply your voucher toward you purchase of prints, wall art or digital files.
HOW MUCH DO PRINTS COST?
Product prices start at $495, and collections start at $750. All participants have a $200 voucher to apply toward their image purchase.
HOW CAN I GET A COPY OF THE BOOK?
The books will be sold on our website and we expect them to be ready fall 2023. Stayed tuned for more details as they become available.
HOW DO I BOOK MY SESSION DATE AND TIME?

I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT TO WEAR, CAN YOU HELP?
Of course! When you book your portrait session, you will receive a list of suggestions and other ideas to help you prepare.
HOW LONG DOES THE SHOOT TAKE?
A standard session takes approximately 45 minutes, depending on number of people in the family, ages of the children and number of dogs. We build in extra time for you to change when you arrive and all of our clients are welcome to do one outfit change per session in case you would like more than one look for your portraits. We have a dedicated changing room for you to use.
